After reviewing Skye's end of the year portfolio, I am impressed with what she has put together what she learned in Language Arts this school year. However, I have a difficult time understanding or cannot comprehend how Skye shares what she learned in Language Arts throughout this past school year and fails first quarter, barely passes second quarter/first semester and then fails third quarter again. How does a student with this much feedback share what she has completed and learned through a whole year fail Language Arts? An "F" would constitute no work completed at all. Did Skye do absolutely nothing? Did she complete her assignments but may have no longer been accepted by her teacher because she did not meet deadlines? But all in all, as I mentioned before, I am fairly impressed with her portfolio.
